Touching Cloth

Edward Kay presents a new series of paintings at Hotel Michele concerning ideas of origination versus reproduction using a vocabulary that is comforting and disorientating at the same time. Absurd connections are created in saturated synthetic colours by reframing familiar motifs and references that are characteristically silly and serious in equal measure.
